Here are a few things you need to know:

You should be at least 130 lbs. and 5 ft. tall (17 and older, 110 lbs. and no height restriction - 17 year olds also do not need parents to sign a release)

Make sure you eat something and drink plenty of water before donating

Your parent needs to sign a release 16 Year Old Parental Permission Release
